Day to Day Repairs
As a tenant of Villages Housing, you can expect a prompt and efficient service when repairs are needed in your home. Your Tenants Handbook gives full details about our obligations for home repairs.

Reporting a Repair
When you call us, give us the following details:
* Your name, address and telephone number
* Details of the problem
* How and when we can gain access to your home to
carry out the work
You can expect an emergency job to be completed within 24 hours, an urgent job within 5 working days, and a routine job within 20 working days.

Cyclical Maintenance
Our homes are painted and maintained externally every five years.Works include repairs / cleaning / replacement of gutters, fencing, flagging, as well as external painting.

Tenant's Responsibilities
We all have a role to play when it comes to maintaining your home, and as a tenant you have responsibilities too. If you, your family or visitors cause damage accidentally, wilfully or negligently to any part of the property we will recover the repair cost from you; click here for details.

Contractor Code
All Villages' contractors are dedicated to following the National Federation of Housing Association's "Contractor Code".
